Cable Labels

CABLE LABELS & IDENTIFICATION

Cable labels are widely used in Commercial and Industrial labeling across Australia. This type of labeling is becoming more widely used in all types of Electrical installations. These labels are commonly 0.5mm thick 316 Stainless Steel but can be made from Acrylic Two Ply with PVC Sleeves or thicker 304 or 316 Stainless Steel as well as Nylon/ABS or a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LS0H) Flexible Rubber. Engraving or marking can be Laser Etched or Thermal printed, depending on the type of label required. Direct Laser Engraved or Chemically Etched Stainless Steel Cable Labels are very durable and will last forever where labeling is required to be UV, Chemical and abrasive resistant. Thermal Printed Cable labels are printed on a Vinyl/ABS or LS0H materials that are fully UV rated and also chemically resistant as well. They can be printed in Black Text on Yellow, White, Blue or Red labels.We can also provide Chemically engraved and Enamel Paint Filled Stainless Steel Cable Labels on request as well as coloured UV Printed Stainless Steel Cable Labels.All of our Cable Labels are provided with slotted end large enough for fixing with cable ties of either Nylon or Stainless Steel which can be also supplied on request.

Engraveco maintains a stock level of the following label types. Stock levels are adequate to fulfill orders up to 10,000 - 20,000 nameplates.
All Cable labels come with slotted ends for attachment by cable ties.
0.5mm thick 316 Stainless Steel Cable labels with a plain finish. We maintain stock in two sizes, 89mm x 9.5mm and 89mm x 19mm.
Nylon/ABS Cable labels in Yellow, White, Blue and Red. We maintain stock in two sizes, 86mm x 13.5mm and 86mm x 27mm.
S0H Flexible Cable labels in Yellow or White. We maintain stock in four sizes, 76mm x 13mm, 76mm x 27mm, 102mm x 13mm and 102mm x 27mm.
Acrylic Two Ply in Clear Sleeves in any colour from our Acrylic Nameplates (Traffolyte) colours. We maintain stock in one size, 90mm x 12mm.

Direct Laser Etched Stainless Steel Cable Labels

Direct Laser Etched Nameplates are engraved with our Direct Fiber Laser with no need to utilise a marker paste. The engraved mark is very permanent and resistant to harsh environments such as exposure to chemicals, UV and abrasive particals. This is our standard option for engraving Stainless Steel Cable Labels and is widely excepted in the Industrial Oil and Gas industry as well as the Coal and Iron Ore industry. The engraved mark is dark but completely black.

Marker Paste Engraved Stainless Steel Cable Labels

Marker paste engraved Cable labels are engraved with our Co2 Laser and utilises a mineral marker paste that is permanently fused to the surface of the Stainless Steel. This option of engraving is also resistant to harsh environments such as exposure to chemicals, UV and abrasive particals. It is also widely excepted in the industrial Oil and Gas industry and Coal and Iron Ore industries. The engraved mark is darker than the Direct Laser Etched mark and is black.

Thermal Printed Nylon/ABS Cable Labels

Thermal Printed Nylon/ABS Cable labels are printed using specialised DOT Group Thermal printers specifically designed for Cable identification labels. The print is black or white (on request) and is also very durable with high UV ratings and chemical resistance.

Thermal Printed Flexible Cable Labels

Thermal Printed on a LS0H (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) material Cable labels are printed using specialised DOT Group Thermal printers specifically designed for Cable identification labels. The print is black and is also very durable with high UV ratings and chemical resistance.

Acrylic Two Ply Cable Labels in Clear PVC Sleeves

Acrylic Two Ply in Clear PVC Sleeves are simply Acrylic Nameplates (Traffolyte) Labels made to fit within our clear cable labels sleeve. This type of label is typically used indoors as it is not UV rated or chemically resistant.

Deep Engraved and Enamel Paint Filled SS Cable Labels

Deep engraved by rotary engraver and enamel pain filled 316 Stainless Steel cables are quite rare. But if your client is adamant about red text on your stainless tags, then there is few other options available. Very durable to all UV and chemical elements, you can achieve a colour variation that is vibrant and distinct from other methods of engraving.
